Worth staying up late for
The opening chapter had me hooked, and the slow reveal keeps paying off. Characters feel like real people with real reasons.
Every published chapter is free to read.
A tortoise the size of a village has walked the same circuit across the plains for nine hundred years. The village on its back has never touched the ground. This year, it stops walking.
The opening chapter had me hooked, and the slow reveal keeps paying off. Characters feel like real people with real reasons.
Gorgeous prose and an unusual premise. The middle stretch is slower, but the last arc is worth every chapter.
Comfort reading with surprising depth. I look forward to every new release and reread the free chapters often.
